By popular demand Sausagemaker is holding courses for all those
wishing to make superb sausages at home. These courses will last approximately
three hours and will be held at Osney Lodge Farm and will be taken by Mr Roy
Maynard our Master Butcher.
These course will be informative and informal, breaking the
art of sausagemaking into easy steps-these will include:
- Basic Health and Safety requirements.
- The importance of labelling produce and the correct storage
of items.
- Having a look at the variety of machines and kits available.
- Full hands on participation using various machines with plenty
of personal supervision and tuition.
- Watching in detail the making of sausages-from preparing
your mix to stuffing your skins. Attendees have the opportunity to take the
sausages they have made home.
- Demonstration of the taking apart and cleaning of the utensils.
- Questions and answers forum.
